REGULAR AUDITS
Modern Payments performs regular internal audits and is also audited by external bodies for proper security standards. Technology, employee practices, financial statements, and other security related activities are evaluated and scrutinized against the highest standards. All employees are also continuously trained and certified in subjects like Security, the Banking Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
STRONG ENCRYPTION
Modern Payments uses the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. SSL incorporates data encryption which means that the information you send is scrambled making it unreadable to someone who may be trying to intercept your connection. This is done through complex mathematical algorithms, which turn your information into a data stream that requires a software key to read. Modern Payments uses 128-bit encryption, the highest encryption available to non-government websites, and the same level of security used by banks.
PASSWORD AND LOGIN INTEGRITY
Modern Payments uses a unique Internet Login ID which will serve as your identifier when using our products. In addition to your Internet Login ID, we require the use of a secret password that you can change at your convenience. Together, these elements provide distinctive pieces of information that protect you online and enable you to view your account information quickly and easily while maintaining your privacy.
